_PLAN545 - Costa Rica Field Studies "Land Use, Climate Adaptation & Ecosystem Services in Latin America"
_Collaboration between UBC and CATIE has led to the creation of PLAN545, a
graduate-level field studies course offered through the School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
course focuses on policy analysis for land use planning, climate
adaptation and ecosystem services for Costa Rica. The course introduces
students to structured decision-making as a conceptual and practical framework to tackle these types of issues.
The course first ran in 2010 and is again scheduled for May 2012.
